Class Chalet

Hey guys, I know this is kind of off topic, but I'd like to know whether if most of you are interested in a chalet gathering after the assessments?

Venue: Changi (might change due to availability)
Duration: 3D2N (not yet confirmed)
Date: 15th May? (I'm thinking of right after assessments haha!)

So, if you're interested, please leave a comment at this entry. Not at the tagboard, because it won't be easy to keep track of everything.

Edit: If you guys have read the news recently, the chalets at Aloha Loyang are used to be a quarantined area for H1N1. Perhaps we could change this into a BBQ or something instead? Ideas guys!

Digital Art Class Postponed

Dear all,

Please kindly inform your classmates that for tomorrow's morning (wednesday) DA&D will be postponed from 9am-12pm to a later timing of 1-7pm, due to some urgent matters which i have to attend to.

This timing is flexible as long as your class turns up of consultation anytime during this timing, attendance with be taken. Once consultation is complete, you can stay and continue to work on your project or leave to work at home.

Note, this only applies to your class 1B.

Makeup Test

Note: For those who missed the Digital Art quiz last term, you'll have to retake it this coming Wed (22th April) 9am. It's your last chance, so don't miss it.

Final Projects

I posted this as a simple reminder of what we must do for the final projects.

Basic Anatomy & Figure Sketching:
- Create an A2 size drawing with 6 human figures in 3 combined spaces [ex: the cubist style, i think]

Drawing II:
- Arrange a group of still life with 5 objects, with combination of organic & inorganic shape.

IIIA:
- Your essay topic with the format given [1000-1200 words]

Digital Art & Design:
- Portofolio design: at least 10 artworks images (at least 5 digital images), biography / cv, artist statement
- Name card & Comp Card Design
- Website with at least 5 pages based on their artworks, biography / cv, artist statement

2D Drawing:
- Draw [min.] 3 hardware tools, the "bolt" and "nuts" [similar & opposites] in A2 size
- Don't forget the references, sketches, etc to support your final presentation

Art History:
- We got test, the same like last semester ;d
- Study from all the history slides given :D

Yes, a grand total of 15 powerpoint slides. This is going to be one heck of a flipping through peeps.
