Digital Art & Design
To-do-list:
- Choose 4 different digital artworks (2 from Phase One or Phase Two, or one from each phase and 2 from Phase Three*). In less than 300 words, analyse and compare the 4 artworks in terms of style, colour, context and techiniques. Also compare it to your current/future art style and add in your own opinions regarding about these artworks.
Essay is to be printed along with the 4 chosen photos and filed inside the file. - Prepare 5 photos of your artworks (2D, 3D) in soft copy format. Please store them inside a thumbdrive and bring them during the next lesson. Note that you're supposed to take photos, not scan in the works and store them in .jpeg
Things to be brought next week (21th Jan):
- The notes (Those who do not have a copy, please look for me)
- A file with clear pockets to store in your homework, research, notes etc.
- The photos mentioned above
*Phase One is known as the Pioneer era, Phase Two as the Paintbox Era and Phase Three as the Multimedia Era.
P.S. The artists from all 3 eras could be found at DAM.
P.P.S. The lesson next week has been rescheduled to Friday (23rd Jan), 9am-12pm. Note that it's only for this particular lesson. Lesson times will be reverted back to the usual.

P.S. The artist that Dr Sian had shown earlier during class is Caravaggio. If you thought you heard Michelangelo, you didn't hear it wrongly. It's his first name after all, just that he's not the one who sculpted David.
